Great Barrier Reef
The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef in the world.It consits of 3,000 indiviual
reefs on 900 islands, stretching for 2,600 kilometers and has a area of 344,400 square kilometers.The reef is
found in coral sea,near the coast of Queensland in northeast Australia.It can be seen from outer space and it is the world's
biggest structure made by living organisms.The Great Barrier Reef is made by billons of tiny creatures called coral polyps.
