Enid Blyton was
born in August 11, 1897 and died on November 28, 1968. She was a British children’s author. Her books have been very
popular in many parts of the world and have sold over 400 million copies. In 2006 Enid Blyton was the 5th most
popular book writer. One of her famous series of books was Noddy. Also the Famous
Five, which had 21 books in the series. And also the Secret Seven.
She was born in
London.
On August 28, 1924 she married Major Hugh Alexander Pollock (he was born in 1888
and died in 1971)
Blyton
wrote about 800 books over roughly 40 years.
